She was
Simply to play
Also to say
in a way
culpable
beaming
excited
Eager once and on and on
I admire her in that way
the way I gaze on her chest each time

I do not fantasize of you some way
my love
You are better and better each day
As gentle with your lips as I am with my kisses
I run my hands down your body and we dance beneath some covers or in the light or
in the wild we drop everything to belong to each other
How I wish for your success and well-being as I toss my coin
with eyes closed
each night I might pray to whatever may be or listen
not for the lack of earthly time pouring into the soil where we grow
watered with tears that glisten
from my fountain it overflows, with a silken feel on your tongue
yes it is your fountain of youth to suck from me dry

Oh how wet! I reminisce my missus
though in the air you linger and I am not quick to leave the place you last occupied in my presence lest you drip from my ear
out of my mind with time
losing, iota by iota, the sured form of you that lives in my head
The fear
The knowing of your scent that I would recognize as you passed me by in a crowded hurry
as the world slowed and I am
taken back to each unending moment that our chests and hearts embraced
Damned to recall the dawn angle of which the morning light curves off your face
your daintily flocculent cheek, rays of sunrise dreamily peer through the prairie profiling cheekbones and brows that adorn your ancient beauty
this close we are mammalian under my furious study
A stunning organic symbiotic machine of a body
It pulses with your breath
I can hear the slow involuntary breathing of your sleep
I know the twists and turns of your insides and the song your body sings
your eyelashes flicker with a slow waking or deep dream

But like the ocean you come in tides
And the tide pools I slumber in are doused
drenched and drowned
The moon shifts position in the sky as we are want to do
Gravity pulls you away and in the days I bake in the sun
I feel every cold bite of wind
How they erode away your memory
I would hate it if it did not cool the burns of Summer
How can it be that to be closest we must slumber
